The IdealMedicalPractices.org web-based programs enable health professionals to efficiently use new technologies and share best practices with their peers.

L. Gordon Moore
Assistant Professor of Family Medicine; University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry; Institute for Healthcare Improvement Faculty for Office Practice Redesign; Institute of Medicine. Dr. Moore brings extensive experience assisting practices adopt practice redesign, office efficiency, and office-based measurement. His solo practice is often cited as performing in the top 10% nationwide on key measures of quality. He leads the Ideal Micro Practice Project (for very small Ideal Medical Practices) supported by The Physicians Foundation for Health System Excellence and the Commonwealth Fund.
John H. Wasson
Professor of Community and Family Medicine and Medicine; Herman O. West Professor of Geriatrics at Dartmouth Medical School; Director of the Center for Aging; Research Director of the Dartmouth – Northern New England Primary Care Research Network (COOP); Institute for HealthCare Improvement Faculty for Idealized Office Practice, IMPACT, and Planned Care Programs. Dr. Wasson brings decades of experience in practice-based research and improvement. His massive database, www.HowsYourHealth.org, covers 34 States, more than 7000 employers, and more than 60,000 individuals, providing ample data for benchmarks and comparisons.

Deborah Johnson
As Executive Director of the Dartmouth COOP Project and IDCOP faculty, Ms. Johnson has extensive experience coordinating research projects with practice networks and in practice innovation. The COOP Project is a voluntary and cooperative network of independent primary care clinicians. Started in the 1970's, the Dartmouth COOP Project is the oldest primary care practice-based research network in the country. The Dartmouth COOP Project has a long tradition of working with distant practices that often serve different populations
Jeanne B. Thoma
Jeanne leads the allied effort for Ideal Missouri Practices, working closely with the St. Louis Area Business Health Coalition. She is based in St. Louis and during her professional career has focused on the educational needs of physicians in academic, clinical, administrative and corporate settings. Jeanne has a unique perspective of physicians’ office workflow, their information needs in clinical practice, and their commitment to providing the highest quality care for their patients.
